A compelling tweak in style to the fantastic 2010 Cuvee Brut, this 2013 vintage comprises of 47% Pinot noir, 33% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot meunier all aged in barrel. Harvested late in the year to achieve glorious ripeness of fruit. Displaying greater opulence and depth than previous vintages, the 2013 however retains the Wiston signature of focus and precision. Has great potential like all our vintage wines to age beautifully, however this is excellent drinking now.
A different emphasis here compared to the legendary Trophy winning 2011 vintage, the 2014 Rosé is comprised of 68% Pinot Noir 22% Pinot Meunier and just 10% Chardonnay. Two-thirds of this cuvée was fermented and aged in oak barrels, giving texture and elegance to this fruit-forward wine, which displays exotic, spicy characters and extraordinary complexity.
Will age very well but excellent to drink now, a wine brimming with individual personality.
