Happy Anniversary Chalk

two years of chalk…

We can’t believe it’s been two whole years since Chalk opened its doors to the public. Nestled at the foot of the beautiful South Downs, this was the perfect spot to build a restaurant and be able to welcome visitors onto the estate. Originally Chalk was an old flint threshing barn dating back to the 18th century and over 2019 – 2021 it had a major revamp! We worked with partners at ECE Architecture to create the space which now houses the restaurant, courtyard and winery. Below are some images of the renovation and build that was finally completed just before Christmas two years ago… it’s amazing to see the transformation from what it was and how different it is now.

Here’s to many more delicious dishes, delectable glasses of Wiston wine and happy occasions being celebrated here!
