Harvest 2023 – Volunteer Grape Picking

We are very excited it is nearly time for harvest! We’d love to invite you to come and help with the grape picking again. Our picking days are always enthused with a wonderful sense of community and fun which we simply love.

We’ll start at 9am with coffees and teas, along with a training session from our team here at Wiston. Then we get picking! The morning will be fuelled with a cookie and cake break, and a hearty lunch will be provided as well. After lunch we do a bit more picking before cracking open a few bottles to toast the day and the vines. All pickers will be sent home with a bottle of Wiston sparkling wine and a voucher for two glasses on the house in Chalk*.

Please be aware: picking is a physical activity and requires a certain level of fitness and mobility. Sensible clothing and footwear is essential. Please also be aware, if the weather turns on us, the picking days may need to be cancelled – no one enjoys picking in the rain! Please do not sign up if you are not 100% certain you can join us on your selected date – the days are very popular, and for health and safety reasons we can only accommodate a certain number of pickers so we like all the places to be filled.
