Blanc de Blancs 2018
Notes of intense nougat and lemon zest on the nose, with ripe greengage, apples and pastry flavours on the palate. This is a wine to savour – and would work well with whatever local seafood you can get your hands on – think fresh crab on thickly buttered bread…
ROSE 2018
This is not a shy and retiring rosé! Enticing notes of dark cherries, blood orange and hints of wild roses and rosehip. Friuty and rich on the palate with notes of cranberries, brioche and marzipan. The intensity of this rosé works well with things like smoked duck or a platter or charcuterie – like the ones we serve in Chalk from Knepp Estate.
BLANC DE NOIRS 2014
Traces of baked and caramelized apples, toast and Seville oranges. Round and weighty texture abound with notes of rhubarb, dried orange and greengage. This exciting palate travels further showing finesse from hints of spice and honey, with an electric freshness with the additional subtle sweetness of Braeburn apple. This is seriously good with a rich and oozy wild mushroom risotto with plenty parmesan.
