With enticing notes of fragrant English orchard fruits, white chocolate, nougat, toasted hazelnuts and brioche, Wiston Estate’s Cuvée 2009 shows impressive depth and complexity, whilst retaining Wiston’s signature precision and elegance. Made from a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier, this wine displays a delightful creaminess on the finish and is drinking beautifully now, yet also has great ageing potential.
We are over the moon that this latest release of our signature Cuvée has received a Gold Outstanding Medal in The International Wine & Spirit Competition 2018 for a remarkable second year running (following on from our previous release, Cuvée 2013). It has also been awarded a Gold Medal in The Drinks Business Global Sparkling Masters 2018.
Selected from the chalkiest and steepest part of Wiston’s vineyard, Blanc de Blancs 2011 is elegant and expressive, with enticing notes of white peach, apricot, brioche and crushed oyster shells. This decadent single vineyard, single vintage, single varietal Blanc de Blancs is perfect for immediate drinking and will also age beautifully.
Comprised of 68% Pinot Noir, 22% Pinot Meunier and just 10% Chardonnay, our Wiston Estate Rosé 2014 displays exotic notes of Seville oranges, cranberries, morello cherries and sweet spice. With extraordinary complexity, there is great texture and elegance to this wine due to two-thirds of this cuvée fermented and aged in oak barrels. It will age very well but this is a wine that is already brimming with individual personality and so is excellent to drink now, especially with food.
