Refreshing and fine, with the fragrance and fruit of an English orchard, our award-winning Wiston Estate Cuvée 2013 vintage comprises of 47% Pinot Noir, 33% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Meunier all aged in barrel. Harvested late in the year to achieve glorious ripeness of fruit, it displays greater opulence and depth than previous vintages, whilst still retaining the Wiston signature of focus and precision. Selected by Decanter Magazine as one of its 75 Most Exciting Wines of 2017, it has great potential like all our vintage wines to age beautifully, but is also drinking excellently now.
The first release of our vintage Blanc de Blancs, rooted in the chalkiest and steepest part of our Wiston vineyard. 100% single-vineyard Chardonnay, aged in the cellars for almost 6 years, this elegant, expressive, multi award-winning wine has developed a remarkable balance of freshness, minerality and fullness of flavour. With layers of honey, truffle, white peach, lemon zest, danish pastry and crushed oyster shells, our Blanc de Blancs 2010 is gloriously complex and has a finish that just keeps going on and on.
A different emphasis here compared to the legendary Trophy winning 2011 vintage, the Wiston Estate Rosé 2014 is comprised of 68% Pinot Noir, 22% Pinot Meunier and just 10% Chardonnay. Two-thirds of this cuvée was fermented and aged in oak barrels, giving texture and elegance to this fruit-forward wine, which displays exotic, spicy characters and extraordinary complexity. Will age very well but excellent to drink now, a wine brimming with individual personality.
