Launch of the Library Collection Blanc de Blancs 2009

As Harry Goring would say – it’s all about timing! Pip and Harry first talked about planting a vineyard in 1972 – but waited until 2006 before the first vines went into the ground, which in Harry’s words was ‘the perfect moment.’ We invite you to join the family as we release an exceedingly special wine – Wiston’s first ever Blanc de Blancs from the 2009 vintage – which has never been commercially released. But we felt – now is the right time!

We will serve this wine alongside a selection of canapés at Chalk, where we will be hosted by the Goring Family. We will also have a vertical tasting of our Blancs de Blancs to taste for those who wish to explore this extraordinary wine further.

These bottles have been ageing in our cellars since the spring of 2010. When we disgorged the wine we were delighted with the result – it is a great testament to the quality and ageability of English Sparkling Wines. This is a unique opportunity to taste this wine with the Goring Family at Chalk. Cancellations will be refunded up to 20 days before the event, after this we cannot offer a refund.
