Where is Wiston Estate?
Wiston Estate Winery and Chalk Restaurant and Tasting Room sit just off the A24, 20 minutes’ drive from Worthing and Horsham. We recommend taxi services for patrons arriving by train. We are listed on Google Maps, and our postcode is RH20 4BB. Click here for a map of our location.
Can I hire the restaurant for private functions, such as parties or wedding receptions?
Yes, our restaurant is available for private hire in the evening. Please contact us for rates and dates at [email protected].
Is there any accommodation available on Wiston Estate?
We have a self-catering cottage – The Pump House. It is not located on the same site as the winery and restaurant, but hidden away in the depths of the South Downs. For bookings please click here.
Are dogs allowed on the Wiston Estate? Are dogs allowed on tours?
Dogs are welcome at outside tables at Chalk, and on the estate’s public footpaths, but please take care to keep them under control. Owners are obliged by law to keep dogs on leads around livestock.
Unfortunately cannot welcome dogs on winery tours or indoors at Chalk restaurant, although of course guide dogs are welcome. Dogs are welcome on the Vineyard Explorer Tour & Lunch.
Are children allowed on Wiston Estate’s tours and events?
Families are welcome at our restaurant and for walks and picnics on the estate. Unfortunately we are unable to accept any children under the age of 18 on our winery tours, tastings, and events where alcohol is served.
Are Wiston Estate wines vegan?
All Wiston Estate wines are vegan and made entirely without animal products.
Where is my order?
We deliver Wiston Estate wines to customers across the UK. Orders placed before midday Monday to Friday will be delivered within two working days (except deliveries to Scottish Islands, Channel Islands and Isles of Scilly, which can take up to five working days and may incur extra charges). Free delivery to UK mainland is eligible with any wine purchase over £75, and orders below this value will incur a £10 delivery charge. We use trusted couriers relevant to your delivery address. During busy periods, deliveries may take longer than usual.

Where is the nearest train station?
Our nearest railway station is Worthing or Horsham with regular direct trains from London and Brighton, serviced by Thameslink and Southern Rail.
If you are travelling from London to Wiston Estate by train, you can travel from London Victoria to Worthing or Horsham in less than an hour and a half, then catch a 20-minute taxi to the estate. Please check https://www.thetrainline.com/en-us for train times and live updates. The last train back from Worthing leaves at 11.21pm, connecting to the London service in Brighton at just after midnight.
Accessibility
Our winery is wheelchair accessible with disabled facilities and nearby parking. Contact us before booking vineyard tours to ensure we can meet your access requirements.
Please note our carpark is on a slope. If you are bringing any guests with limited-mobility please drop them off right at the bottom by the shop door, under the canopy. From here it is flat ground into both the restaurant and shop. Please ask in the shop if you need any assistance.

Walks in West Sussex are a great way to see local wildlife, and we’ve highlighted spots where, if you’re lucky, you can see newts, hares and wild birds. How long do tours take?
Our standard Wiston Estate Tour & Tasting take one and a half hours allowing plenty of time to explore the beautiful surroundings of the estate, including our North Farm vineyard and Chalk restaurant.
