It’s our favourite time of year – the grape harvest! Our Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier vines have been working hard through the growing season and expertly managed by our Vineyard Team. It’s now time to bring in the fruit and let the Winemaking Team get to work.

Our harvest days will start at 9.00am with a briefing and hot drinks to kick us off. Then we’ll get picking – fuelled by cake and a cookie break mid-morning, a hearty lunch, and more sweet treats to finish off the day around 4pm – with a glass or two of Wiston of course!

Please be aware: 

• Grape picking is physical activity which involves lots of bending and lifting, and being outside on your feet all day. Please do not book if this sort of activity is not suitable for you.
• If the weather takes a significant turn for the worst, the day will be cancelled. Please check your emails the day before the planned date. 
• These days are very popular so please do not book unless you fully plan to attend.
• We will be harvesting the main Wiston Vineyard, which is found off the A24 Southbound road, in between Chalk and Findon. It is not at the same location as Chalk, the Cellar Door and the winery. We will send directions closer to the time.

All pickers will be sent home with a bottle of Wiston Brut NV for their efforts – Over 18s only!
