Chef & Winemaker Dinner at Chalk

We’re delighted to welcome you to a new Chef & Winemaker Dinner, inspired by a special moment in our cellar: the release of the latest edition of our still white wine, Tank Five Chardonnay – the the first still white wine made entirely from Wiston fruit.

Head Chef Jordon and his team are preparing a seasonal three course dinner to celebrate these new wines, created in collaboration with our Winemaker, Marcus. Each course has been thoughtfully designed to sit beautifully alongside the wines poured on the night, including the first pour of the new Tank Five Chardonnay.

Marcus will share his tasting notes and insights into Tank Five, offering a deeper understanding of its character, style and story, alongside the other wines being served. As Marcus describes it: “Beautifully textured wine, with aromas of lemon peel, crushed oats and salinity on the nose. Trademark racy Wiston precision and focus on the palate with flavours of fresh peach, wild fennel and a creamy smooth finish. Decant to unlock further flavours.”

Jordon will introduce each course and the thinking behind the pairings, keeping the evening relaxed and engaging.

Expect a refined yet welcoming atmosphere, beautifully matched food and wine, and the opportunity to hear directly from both chef and winemaker.

• Do you cater for dietary requirements?
  As this is a set menu experience prepared in a small kitchen, we sadly cannot cater for every dietary requirement. Please advise us of any requirements when booking and we will confirm whether we are able to accommodate.
• What is the cancellation policy?
  Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to your booking. Cancellations made after this time, or non-attendance, will incur a charge of £45 per person.
• Is there limited availability?
  Yes. This is a ticketed, one-off event with limited availability. Early booking is recommended.
• Where will the dining take place?
  The experience will take place at Chalk Restaurant. Wiston Estate Winery & Chalk Restaurant, North Farm, London Road, RH20 4BB.
• Should I prebook a taxi?
  We do recommend prebooking a taxi. Uber is available in this area.
