Winery Harvest Tour – Behind the Scenes

Join us for a special harvest tour of the winery and experience winemaking first hand with our team. This is the peak of the year in the winery when all the work in the vineyard finally pays off and it’s the turn of the winemakers to turn the hard-won fruit harvest into wine. We’re running some special ‘behind the scenes’ tours this year in which you will be able to get an in depth look at what is going on. The winemaking team will be on hand to show us the different stages they are working on – and we’ll taste samples of the fresh juice, fermenting wines and samples from barrels. It will be a really fascinating session discovering what happens to make the delicious finished product – which we’ll also taste!

Timings: The tour is around 1.5 hours.

What to wear: We’ll be staying under cover, so no need for wellies! However do wear a coat as the winery is kept open to the elements for safety reasons, so it could be chilly.
