Of course, we are fans of English Wine all year around – but if you need an extra excuse – English Wine Week is 21st – 29th June – and there are a whole host of events and tastings to enjoy! Book a tour, come and dine at Chalk – or attend one of the many events going on around the country.
BOOK A WINE TOUR
If you’ve never got around to booking a wine tour – what better time than now? Our ‘Wiston Tour & Tasting’ runs Wednesday to Sunday and is a great introduction to all things English Sparkling Wine. You’ll see the vineyards (weather permitting) and then the winery and production facilities, before a tasting of four wines from our cellar.

Looking for something a bit more active? Join us on the Vineyard Explorer Tour & lunch for a guided walking tour of our beautiful hills and vineyards hidden away in the South Downs, which incorporates a tasting of our award-winning English Sparkling wines and a delicious picnic lunch in the vineyard.
OUr Ultimate summer tour!
Our most popular fine dining and tasting experience;. The Sundowner Vineyard Safari Tour and Tasting, takes in our winery and a tasting of the NV wines, before then hop into the winery trailer and head up and over the hills to our original vineyard. Here we will explore the secluded spot in the early evening and enjoy an alfresco tasting. As the sun sets, head back to Chalk for a delicious five course dinner at Chalk.
CHILL IN THE courtyard
As the temperature starts to heat up, unwind in our beautiful Chalk courtyard with a glass of award-winning sparkling wine and nibbles from our little food truck (open Friday to Sunday) – no bookings required – and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Dine with us at Chalk Restaurant – we’re in both the Michelin Guide and Good Food Guide for 2025! Our chefs have curated new menus inspired by the fresh spring produce. At Chalk we aim to create dishes that express the nature, heritage, and purpose of the land we share. On Friday and Saturday evenings we will be serving up our ‘Estate Menu’ – a set menu of five courses which is built to showcase the produce grown, reared, farmed and foraged on Wiston Estate and from the South Coast. Introducing our new ‘Vintage Tour & Tasting.’ Join us on this new version of our award-winning Tour & Tasting which scooped the Gold Medal for Experience of the Year at the 2023/24 Beautiful South Awards. This tour celebrates our vintage wines, a true wine-lovers experience. These tours will run on Wednesday afternoons, Thursday mornings, and Sunday afternoons It is all undercover and fully accessible.
