For a number of evenings throughout the summer we will run our special ‘Sundowner Vineyard Safari Tour and Tasting’, followed by a seasonal set five course dinner at Chalk.

We’ll meet at 5pm at North Farm and see the winery, the coquard press and wine production zones, then start our exploration of Wiston wines with a tasting of the non-vintage wines in the flint tasting room. Then we will hop into the winery trailer and head up and over the hills to our original vineyard. Here we will explore the secluded spot in the early evening and enjoy an alfresco tasting of our vintage cuvées – all made exclusively with grapes from this vineyard. Our cosy Wine Barn will be used if the weather is inclement.

We’ll then return as the sun dips down for a delicious dinner at Chalk. The menu is changed regularly to benefit from the best local and seasonal produce available. Please note any dietary requirements in the comments. Unfortunately due to the nature of the food preparation involved in the dinner, we are unable to cater for vegan guests.

Ticket price includes: Tour & Tasting, five courses at Chalk. Drinks at Chalk will be charged at the end of your meal. A discretionary service charge will be added to your restaurant bill, along with a £1 charge per table for all water – this is donated to our charity partner the Steyning Downlands Scheme.

• How long is the tour?

The tour of the winery & vineyard is approx 2 hours – with the meal at Chalk starting around 7pm.

Our Sundowner Safari Tours run every Friday evening from May – September.
