We are absolutely delighted to share that Wiston Estate is supporting Chestnut Tree House this year and as part of that we are sponsoring an owl in The Big Hoot! For anyone based in or heading to West Sussex in the summer holidays, The Big Hoot will be a great day out.
Around Chichester and Arundel 30 uniquely designed owl sculptures have been placed in a fully accessible trail – along with a parliament of little owls designed by local schools in shops, museums and libraries around the town centres. Chestnut Tree House is a local children’s hospice charity providing quality of life for children, young people and their families, and to offer practical, social and spiritual support throughout each child’s life.
Some of our team recently helped out at the Chestnut Tree House gardens – which are designed as part of the care and support for the children and their families. With the support from the brilliant garden team at Chestnut Tree House, the Wiston team spent the day removing the old bricks from the path, to be repaved into a more accessible area with a colourful design – great for sensory play! We are so thankful for the opportunity to help out in the gardens and to be shown around the beautiful grounds.
