Join us for a festive wreath making workshop with Hannah Thompson of Branch Out, set in the Coquard Press Room at our winery.
Hannah is a grower who works with willow and the natural materials she finds around her, rather than a traditional florist. She grows living willow on her land near Lewes and will bring freshly cut willow whips for you to shape and weave into the base of your wreath, alongside a beautiful selection of foraged foliage and seasonal decorative materials.
You’re welcome to bring your own secateurs and some evergreen or colourful foliage from your garden if you’d like to add something personal to your wreath, although everything you need will be provided.
As you create, with a glass of Wiston sparkling wine in hand, you’ll make your own handcrafted Christmas wreath to take home. With just 12 places per session, it’s an intimate and welcoming afternoon, complete with Pip’s homemade fruitcake, plenty of creativity and all the winter charm of the winery at Christmastime.
What will I make during the workshop?
You’ll create your own natural willow wreath using freshly cut willow, foraged foliage and seasonal decorative materials to take home.
Do I need to bring anything?
