Wine & Chocolate Experience at Wiston Estate

Join Wiston Estate and Cocoa Runners for a guided exploration of two products shaped by the land, their raw ingredients and the skill of their makers.

Though different in character, both wine and chocolate begin with a crop and are shaped by the decisions made at every stage of the journey, from cultivation and sourcing through to production. This special experience offers an opportunity to discover the craftsmanship behind both.

Your visit begins with a guided tour of the winery, where you’ll learn about Wiston Estate’s history and the craftsmanship behind our award-winning sparkling wines. You’ll also have the opportunity to see our traditional Coquard press and discover its role in our winemaking process.

Following the tour, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of four Wiston wines alongside a selection eight of fine chocolates chosen by the Cocoa Runners team. Using the flavour wheel and flavour wave as a guide, we’ll explore the aromas, textures and tasting notes found in both wine and chocolate, uncovering how different characteristics interact and complement one another.

Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the dedication and expertise that both winemakers and chocolate makers bring to their craft, and discover how careful cultivation, sourcing and production influence the final product, from vineyard to cocoa farm.

Where do I need to come? This event will be hosted at the Winery at Wiston Estate.

What is your cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend for any reason, please get in touch with us as soon as possible and we will discuss the options available.

Is there an age restriction?
Yes. This experience is strictly for guests aged 18 and over, as it includes the tasting of wine and other alcoholic beverages. You may be asked to provide valid photo ID upon arrival.
