This winter we will be offering guests a very special evening; an opportunity to sample a selection of our rarest and most exciting wines, which we rarely pour at tastings, followed by a delicious seasonal dinner at Chalk.
Guests will be welcomed with a glass of our sparkling wine poured from magnum and canapés to match to start the evening off. Our host will welcome us to the winery and talk us through the ups and downs, triumphs and challenges of the 2023 harvest – the wines from which will be quietly resting and ageing in the barrels and tanks which surround us. This will be followed by a candle lit tutored tasting of a selection of our premium vintage wines*, which we do not open very often! We will be serving up two vintage of our award-winning single vineyard Blanc de Blancs – 2015 and 2018. This will be followed by an equally fascinating tasting pair – our Blanc de Noirs 2014 and our Library Collection Blanc de Noirs 2014 Extra Brut. This selection will make a fascinating (and delicious) display of what our original vineyard planted in 2006 is capable of. Following the tasting, which will have our palates tingling, we will head across the courtyard to Chalk for a three-course set dinner showcasing the best seasonal produce Sussex has to offer.
*These are the wines we plan to show on this tour. However as we mention, some are genuinely limited in quantity, so the vintages and line up may vary due to availability. Whatever we show will be a selection of our top vintage wines.

Ticket price includes: Top Drawer Tour & Tasting with canapés, followed by three courses at Chalk. Additional drinks and nibbles will be charged at the end of your meal. A discretionary service charge will be added to your restaurant bill, along with a £1 charge per table for all water – this is donated to our charity partner the Steyning Downlands Scheme. Payment for Tours is due at the time of booking. Cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to your reservation will be fully refunded.
