What's on at Wiston this Winter?
Beat the January blues and explore what Wiston has to offer in these colder months.
From the tranquility of the South Downs, to cosy meals at Chalk Restaurant. You’re invited to step out for wintery walks, or prepare for a healthy start to 2025 with our expert guests in the Winter Workshops.
Prepare for a healthy start to 2025 with our expert guests in the Winter Workshops this January. First up is the excellent Clare Backhouse – qualified practitioner in nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Clare is running a session on immune health in winter. We also have Yolanda Flint running a workshop on midlife balance – discussing body composition through nutrition, weight training and emotional health. Visit our events page.
Join us on our award-winning Tour & Tasting – this tour scooped the Gold Medal for Experience of the Year at the 2023/24 Beautiful South Awards! The tour is winter friendly – so we run it throughout the year. Guests will be taken through the story of the estate and learn about the vineyards which surround the winery and restaurant. Finish up with a tutored tasting of a selection of our award-winning Wiston wines in the new tasting room. It is all undercover and fully accessible – check availability below.
Dine with us at Chalk Restaurant – our chefs have curated new menus for those cooler days, cosy up in our beautiful restaurant. Chalk draws together the highlights of fresh local produce, including ingredients from the Estate and its neighbours. Our dinners are a set Estate Menu – a set five course dinner showcasing produce grown, farmed and foraged on Wiston Estate and the Sussex Coast. Booking recommended!
Our Top Drawer Tasting & Dinners are back on Friday evenings throughout November & December! Join us for a special tour of the winery followed by a candle-lit tasting of some of our very best bottles – ones we don’t open very often, like our Library Collection. Following the tasting guests will head to Chalk Restaurant to experience the Estate Menu – a five course dinner showcasing the very best of local produce.
